Little Known Fact:
I once dreamed of being a sports reporter. Today I balance my work schedule with the Cal Poly football schedule, so I can travel to support my alma mater and husband – who coaches for the Mustangs.
Client or Design Philosophy:
Always turn out complete, on-time projects, while giving the owner the most creative solution for the least amount of money.
Virtues:
I love to make cookies or treats for anyone who will eat them. I have learned to try new things on the advice of others: sushi, marathons and even watching my 10 year-old niece at competitive cheer competitions.
Vices:
Making treats for others so that I can have one (or two) then give the rest away in order to save my own waistline.
Favorite Project Story:
On my first CA project out of school, I changed a dimension on a set of shop drawings. I was wrong, had to come up with a fix and everyone knew it was my fault. I have never changed another shop drawing dimension…
Special Interests:
Watching and playing sports – especially cheering for the San Francisco Giants, (fooling myself that I am) breaking down football film with my husband, home improvement projects that take 6-months (instead of the scheduled 4 weeks) and being the lookout for the “kitty gangs” of my neighborhood.
