Little Known Fact:
Adjusting to life in the United States, after moving from Taiwan to pursue a masters degree, proved to be an exciting challenge for me. Enthusiasm for challenges is helping me adjust to building a practice in health care and science and technology. Taking on each new aspect of seller-doer model with gusto, I am quickly learning the ropes around the office and providing the firm with a valuable skill set in the area of new design.
Client or Design Philosophy:
Listen, understand and execute.

Respect and Responsiveness

Chocolate
Favorite Project Story:
A Glu-lam beam carrying a heavy concentrated load from an existing HVAC unit developed a split at the bottom and became a potential collapsing hazard. We rushed to the job site after receiving the distress phone call, reviewed the condition in the tight ceiling space and implemented an emergency shoring scheme to protect the safety of the tenants. Full retrofit details and procedure of the beam were provided within one day. No disruption of operation occurred to the client. We have a happy client who really appreciates the responsiveness and quality of work.
Special Interests:
Cleaning backyard, mowing the lawn (if enforced by the HOA). Golfing, biking, and traveling with family (what I really like!).
