Degenkolb Engineers announced Zubald Karim as principal at its San Diego office. In this role, Karim will be responsible for securing and managing projects, providing expert guidance, mentoring engineers and reviewing applications of quality management. Karim has extensive experience working on engineering projects in San Diego. Committed to fostering structural engineering talent and investing back into San Diego, Karim collaborates with students on matters of structural investigation, construction administration, and seismic evaluation and retrofit as an assistant professor at The New School of Architecture and Design in San Diego.
