Culture:

What’s the best thing about my job? I draw pictures all day. I enjoy my creative responsibilities at Degenkolb and appreciate the freedom and support of my team to explore a variety of creative solutions for the Degenkolb brand. I also like the people that I work with, they provide an entertaining atmosphere in which I can be creative and be inspired.

Career:

Degenkolb is very supportive in the area of my life-long learning goals - whether it be design conferences or a valuable workshop or participation in design organizations, I have the support of the firm to make sure I am able to max out these resources to improve my craft.

I am actively involved in SMPS and have just joined AIGA - the professional association for design. I’m looking forward to be continuely involved to add value to my skillset.

Passions:

I like to travel and take time off to recharge the creative batteries - Degenkolb is supportive and accommodating in the ways I’d like to use my flexible time. I was able to go on a “LanaTour” of Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Nottingham, and Marske last summer.

Lately, I’ve been trying to find a croissant that would be comparable to the one I had in Paris. I like graphic and product design, concord grapes (mmmm delicious), Disney’s Cinderella animated movie - (the old school version always made me cry). I also like jumpy castles.

On the job:

We’ve been making snow cones lately with our Snoopy snow cone machine.
