Team Degenkolb fielded 15 players in last night's contest against Thornton Tomasetti (formerly DASSE) at Lowell Field in Oakland, an indication that mid-season is upon us.
The squad started strong, posting 10 runs through 4 innings and allowing only 9 on defense. The wheels came off the bus in the 5th inning, however, with the hard hitting TT squad posting 7 runs, a deficit the Degenkolb squad ultimately could not overcome. Thank you all for coming out and participating in our annual technical conference. I wanted to offer a special thank you to everyone who participated in this years team building exercise. We had some great teams, some great mottos, some great team spirit, and some great overall Degenkolb bonding.

The Degenkolb Softball Team shifted gears last night, taking on B league colleagues AECOM B at Lowell Hardball Field in Oakland. The AECOM B squad is the less-experienced counterpart to AECOM's A team.
