Compton Union Building Makes “Project Of The Week” On DJC.com

 The Washington State University Compton Union Building was recently featured as the Project of the Week in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce website (djc.com)After two years of work, the $63.8 million renovations of the building were completed in 2008. 

 Originally built in 1954, the Compton Union Building has had many renovations over the years and currently encompasses 243,000 square feet.  The student union building includes lounges, pool tables, gaming stations, meeting rooms, administrative offices, multicultural student services, etc.  In August, the project received the rating of LEED Silver.
