    Favorite Project Story:

Well, it was at Kaiser San Diego and we were doing site visit for NPC equipment bracing. We walked into the morgue, and I kid you not, there was a guy sitting at the table cutting something up (ie body part). We needed to go into a room that was locked and had the lights turned off. I asked him, “We are doing a survey for seismic bracing of equipment…etc. What is in that room?” He said, “Bodies” in a matter of fact way. I said, “I don’t need to go inside the room but wanted to know if there was equipment in there that needed to be braced for our inventory.” He said, “Turn on the light and find out.” So, I switched on the light, and what was in the room were racks of bodies inside the refrigerated room. I closed my eyes, flipped off the switch and walked out of the room while he was laughing at me. I wrote down that there were several racks on wheels.
