Portland Firestation Update Makes the News
The Daily Journal of Commerce reports that Firestation 1 occupants like the new light and the added seismic safety this upgraded building now brings. Principal, Kent Yu came up with a unique solution to stiffen the front of the building and weaken the back of the building so the building will move, but not twist in earthquake.
