Oakland’s Fire Station No. 18 Opens Its Doors To A Renovated LEED Gold Facility
Monday, June 14, 2010 marked the reopening of Oakland’s Fire Station No. 18! The Degenkolb team proudly made it out to the ribbon cutting ceremony. The station closed for renovation in April 2009 to accomodate newer model fire trucks, and reopened its doors to a new LEED Gold facility. Oakland’s Fire Station No. 18 is the first facility in the fire department to be certified LEED Gold.
