The Bowls Project temporary art installation was successful and well-attended throughout the summer; so much so that the run at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts was extended until early October. Alas, earlier this month, the structure's time had to come to an end and it was dismantled and removed.

In the morning, we reviewed some more traditional "gingerbread" colombage construction homes – there was a cluster of these homes in the Bois Verna area of Port Au Prince. As observed previously, these structures generally performed very well. Most of the problems in these buildings were related to poorly constructed concrete/masonry porticos that appear to have been added at a later date. Activities to date - Days 1 and 2
Packed and made it to Miami. No small feat, we have **a lot** of gear. Thankfully much of it won't be coming home.
Arrived about 2pm from Miami, met our guide Francois and his security guy - charming fellow, but we elected to manage without those additional services. The hotel is good, four in one room is "cozy", but we can't complain.
